DISCLAIMER! We don't own the character of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun with them, ne?
((If you have not read "The Beginning of All." please do so now or else you'll get REALLY lost.))
(( Gather around, children... for I tell you of the latest story that has lead each character up to the point in which they are now. ))
--------------
Seth; arabic for "Appointed One"... a basic term derived from the words "Different" and "Chosen" all at once. What was it like to be so different within a clan full of look-alikes and comformity?
... utter hell.
A small village lay beyond that of the Market Place before the entrance of the palace of Upper Egypt. Said village was filled to the brim with lively magicians also known to the humans as Spellcasters. Each of them looked moderately alike when it came to looks. There was no such thing as brown hair, pale skin, or blue eyes. Each magician was tan with hair colors of gold, blue, indigo, crimson and many other colors; and eyes of red, black, purple or amethyst or gold. They were all considered family as long as they continued looking alike. (d**n conformists. XD)
A small hut filled with a family of three was amazed the day the mother, Nifta, gave birth to another baby boy. Maut, the father, was a little more than flat-out disappointed... he was very angry with the gods for choosing his family. As different as the baby was, Nifta chose to keep him and named him Seth. As the little Seth began to grow and face problems of his own, Setoek, the older son and brother of Seth, swore to the gods that he would protect Seth at any cost; even at the cost of his death.
Unlike the other spellcasters of his village, Seth had pale skin, exotic blue eyes, a very thin build, and sandy brunette hair. Either through jealousy or pure fear, the magicians either made fun of Seth constantly, gave him a hard time, picked on him or just completely ignored him. The day Setoek explained to Seth the prophecy and how everyone thought he was the chosen "Dragon Keeper" was the day he saw Seth's heart ripped to shreds. He wanted nothing more than to have friends and be like all of the others, but his powers far more exceeded those of a normal magician and for that, he was shunned and feared secretly.
As he walked in the streets to pick up supplies for his family, the others made calls toward him and often times pelted rocks at his frail frame. With all of the treatment, Seth grew very silent and withdrawn from the world; only speaking to his brother when he felt the need to shed some of his broken tears.
As if life couldn't get worse for the brothers, Maut, their father, took up a bad habit of drinking and became quite abusive toward his wife and children. Setoek did what he could to keep Maut from hurting his little brother, but distracting Maut soon became hard and Seth dealt with the harsh treatment and beatings from his father; all because Seth was born into the family and he couldn't change who he was.
One rainy night, Maut returned home from his night out and carried with him a dagger. Nifta screamed in horror as Maut ran at Seth in anger. Setoek stood before Seth, but before Setoek stood their beloved mother. A clash of angry words, one last arguement... Nifta was left dead and bloodied before the feet of the two brothers. As Seth sobbed into Setoek's side and pleaded silently for the Gods to give them forgiveness for whatever they had done, an idea came to the older brother's mind.
"Come with me, brother." He said quietly as Maut tried to find something to do with the dead mother's corpse. Seth tried desperately to run to his mother and give her one last embrace, but Setoek's hold was strong as he dragged the little one out of the hut and into the storming night.
They traveled for hours on end until the lush touch of grass touched the end of their feet. "Here is where you will stay, brother. If the prophecy is true, you will survive and flourish within these lands." He said to the frightened younger brother whom clung to him for life. They were at the edge of the most feared land in all of Egypt;
The dragonlands.
"Brother... do not leave me here alone! I will not survive! What if the prophecy is not true!" Seth pleaded as he held onto his brother's shoulders. All Setoek could say was, "Hold your tongue, brother. Have faith." He kissed Seth's forehead and whispered a sleep spell. The brunette fell to the terrain in a peaceful slumber as his older brother left and returned back to the village.
-----------------
When Seth had finally come to, he awoke within a dank cave. Terrified and longing to return home, he stepped out and into the sunlight. Trees surrounded the area and he felt he would never get out. "Stay where you are, child. You'll be needing to grow a little before you return to your village." A voice spoke from behind him. His heart beat quickly as he thought that maybe there was another magician that came to save him. He whipped about and came face to face with a large, female dragon.
After much questioning and conversation with the old dragon, Seth realized that the prophecy was true; he was the appointed one.
------------
Seth was raised and taught within the comforting confines of the Dragonlands where he learned to cast spells, control dragons and become a little more social, but his timid nature always stood by. Sometime around that time, a dark force of some sort entered his body and dwelled in the confines of his mind. Seth took no heed to it, only thinking he was slightly crazed from living the way he did. Around the age of 16, Seth decided it was his time to return home and visit his brother. Each of the dragons wept quietly as their lord, their keeper... returned back to the place that hated him so.
Once the way out of the forest was found, the brunette calmly traveled back to the village with a lengthy cloak on. Reaching the old hut in which he was raised for a while, he hesitantly knocked and as the door opened, his eyes widened. Standing there, alive and well, was his dear brother Setoek. Embraces were quickly made between the brothers before Setoek dragged Seth inside.
"What are you doing here? It's not safe, Seth!" Setoek had said.
"A nice welcome from you, brother... I came back to stay with what family I have left." Seth defended his point.
"I forbid it-" Setoek began before a loud shatter and screams began in the main part of the village. "Ra, no!" Setoek said as he grabbed Seth and headed for a door in the floor that leaded to an underground hiding spot.
"What is happening, Setoek?" Seth questioned as he clung to his brother.
"... The pharaoh's guards have come looking for slaves. The pharaoh is cruel and cold-hearted. He kills the slaves if they don't give him what he wants..." Setoek whispered in response. The sound of the hut door being pushed open touched his ears and he embraced his brother as tightly as possible.
The slow foot steps approached cautiously and stopped right above the door. The two held their breath and prayed to the gods for help. Just then, the door swung open and Setoek jumped up to fight off the guards as best as possible. There were too many, however, and the brothers had Spell Binds put on them and they were taken to line up.
The whole way to the palace, Seth attempted to call for his dragon family to help him, but the Spell Bind kept him from all possible spellcasting. The tears threatened to fall as they had finally reached the front doors of the palace and into the throne room where the pharaoh sat, cheek leaning on a fist in a relaxed position. A frightening looking man, he was according to Seth. Another terrifying man stood beside the Pharaoh's side with a purple cape and his lust-filled violet eyes were already locked on Seth.
Once again, the dark force in the back of his mind sneered and spoke to Seth. 'Don't let them look at you like that! These pathetic humans know nothing about your strength!' But Seth ignored the dark force and sighed to himself. What was he to do? He had a voice in the back of his head and he was about to be either killed or taken into the chambers of a man he heard is cruel-hearted.
Setoek was blocking him from the pharaoh's view and took the punishment of a slap to the face as Atem pushed him out of the way and grabbed Seth's chin. Atem's amethyst eyes showed nothing but lust and... another emotion Seth could not determine at the time. "I want this one." Atem simply said. "Guards. Take him to be bathed, clothed and put him into my chambers." The pharaoh stated calmly as the guards came.
"No!" Seth screamed as he lunged for Setoek. "Brother! Don't let them take me! Please!" He clung onto Setoek and in turn, his older brother kept a tight embrace on him as well. The two brothers were torn apart by the guards as Seth was taken away from the area, screaming and crying.
"You bastard!" Setoek called out to Atem. "I'll have your head in my grasp for this blasphamy!" He snarled.
"Take him to the dungeon." The pharaoh stated through a bored yawn as the guards took Setoek and threw him into the dungeon.
---------------------
Seth was bathed by the female slaves of the palace and they all giggled at his cuteness and commented on his fair skin and hair. They didn't treat him as much an oddity, but more of a special diamond. They took him to the pharaoh's room and quickly dropped him off on the bed and went to care for the other slaves that had been chosen to remain in the palace.
Curling up in the middle of the floor, Seth awaited his doom. When the pharaoh entered the room, he begged Atem for mercy and begged him not to hurt his brother. With much surprise, Atem didn't try to seduce the virgin spellcaster, but just asked for a simple name and promised to let Setoek out of the dungeon after a few days.
----------------
Setoek sat within the dungeon in all of his brooding anger. The food they fed him was very little and he didn't want that dirty pharaoh's hands all over his little brother. He had to think of some way to get out of the situation at question.
"Hail, stranger!" A voice called from the darkness. "You gonna be getting out of here anytime soon? I have a way to get out!" The voice called once again.
Setoek blinked as a figure came into view. "A... a thief?!" He questioned aloud as the person came closer.
"Yes." He offered a curt bow. "The name's Nahkti; thief king of the lands. Say... you're that Seth guy's brother, ain' ya?" He questioned.
"Yeah. I need to save him." Setoek said.
"No need for that. Your brother and the pharaoh seem to be getting along. I just came here for the thrill. You see, I know your brother pretty well." Nahkti winked as he handed out a hand to grasp onto Setoek's to lead him out.
Setoek blushes and took the thief's hand, only to be quickly lead out of the dungeon.
--------------
The destruction and gravel about him was so terrifying to gaze upon and Seth caught back his senses. The last thing he remembered was talking to the force in his head before blacking out. 'I will show these humans...' Was all the force said before Seth blacked out. Now he sat in the middle of a pile of gravel and dead bodies surrounded him. Looking up, Atem's angry amethyst eyes gazed at him with rage.
His hair was grabbed by the pharaoh and he began to be dragged up toward Atem's chambers. Fear gripped his heart like a vice grip and he began to plead and sob toward the pharaoh. "Please, my master!" He had shouted. "There is a dark force within me that could not be handled! It was not me who did it! It was-" Seth's words were cut off as he was thrown on the bed and bound to the posts; there was no saving the magician.
"I'll teach you a lesson you will never forget, scum." Atem said in a darkly calm voice as he began to undress the spellcaster.
"No!" Seth shouted.
Throughout the night... Seth's screams of pure agony were heard until he could scream and plead no more. Atem had taken everything that made him pure... and turned him into a dirty toy.
It wasn't enough that Atem had taken away his purity, but the pharaoh had made Seth into nothing but a bed slave and kept the magician from attempting to kill himself. When the pharaoh finally realized that the force inside of Seth's head was real, all went wrong.
The force within Seth called himself Sethos, the god of chaos. Sethos had gathered enough energy to leave Seth's body and make a body of his own, but not strong enough to use his full-blown magic... only enough to survive and keep gathering much-needed energy.
After Atem had raped Seth the magician felt sick and from his skin sprung four dragons with silver scales and blue eyes. Three were boys and one female too weak to survive on her own. The three boys were noble Kimori, wild Yukon, lazy Hiero and elegant Kisara.
Now with Atem constantly looking to gain Seth's trust once again... what was the spellcaster to do?
