Tired feet drudged on aimlessly in hot, burning sand and bright green eyes searched desperately for some place to rest. This tall blond haired man had been walking for sometime now, ever since he was banished from the spell caster village that he came from. Even thinking about them brought an uneasy, nervous feeling in his stomach, the thought of his family betraying him all because he was not as close minded and ignorant as the rest of them.
"Leave here! Never come back, boy! You are not wanted if you are going to be so blasphemous!" Yelled a man that looked to be his father and behind him was a woman cry, who seemed to be his mother. There was also a little girl, her big green eyes lost in confusion, wondering why he was being kicked out. "Fine! But mark my words! You will rue this day! You are the blasphemous one here! You all are." And with that the young man left the village dogging blows of energy shot at him by the people that he once called family and friends.
The blond shook his head uncomfortably, he was coming up upon a village and thought that there might be a place he could stay...However he had no money, he was just a lone spell caster looking for charity; though his pride would never let him utter such works.
As he entered the bazaar he looked around hoping to see some opening so he could steal some water or some fruit. He had been so parched from the long walk and he had lost alot of energy trying to cross the desserts; trying to make some water draw up from the sands. He was still young, or so he was considered by his people, so he was not strong enough to cross vast plains of nothingness while still keeping a good amount of energy.
He decided to rest on the ground and wait to see if he could spot some careless merchant leaving something unguarded just long enough for him to steal.

Seth sighed as he stood at the frame of the entrance, and exit, of the palace and into the "lovely" bazaar he was presented with. His brown locks of silken hair brushed into his sapphire gaze as he eyed the small village with mild curiosity and great discomfort. His job for today was to enter the bazaar the pick up some fruits for the palace chef; Triis. With a small sack clutched in his pale grasp, Seth looked upon his clothed and sighed once more. "I am going to attract more attention than I am worthy of at this point." His gown consisted of a pure white clothe laced and rimmed with silk of the finest aquamarine and gold, a gold sash and normal sandals. Each and every day a new outfit was presented for him to wear and it constantly brought him concern.
He inhaled sharply and exhaled as slowly as possible before stepping away from the palace, pulling his head veil over to shade his eyes somewhat to hide from attention. Seth shied away from passerby as he silently walked the dirt road and eyed the many little carts of fruit that he was presented with. Triis had specifically asked for about a pound of blueberries along with twenty strawberries and if he could manage it, a watermelon as well. How in Ra's name was he supposed to carry all of that at once? The chef was insane.
"Uhm... excuse me, kind sir." Seth smiled gently at one of the merchants that held possession of a cart of ripe blueberries. The spell caster pointed at the little berries and asked for a pound after holding out enough gold to pay for the little fruits. Much to his dismay, as soon as the merchant went to grab for the gold he also took hold of Seth's wrist and examined his flesh closely.
"'Ey, dis colour ain't normal." The man spoke aloud, causing Seth's heart rate to increase drastically. He smiled to the best of his ability and tried to pull away.
"Please.. let go." He pulled and pulled, but the man refused to let him go!
"Yous remindin' me of dat slave that livin' there in dat palace. Tha weird one." The man's tanned skinned wrinkled in concern and he let go of the brunet at almost the right time. The poor spellcaster tripped over himself and fell straight back and upon the terrain. It was to his luck he sensed the fall and managed the avoid falling on his backside, thus he had no convulsions... but the pain was enough to bring tears to his eyes.
"'Ey, yous are dat spellcaster! Lookit dat! Trippin' all ova himsel' like a bumblin' whore!" The man bellowed, causing many villagers to cast glances over at the commotion. Sure enough, the brunet's veil had fallen, revealing his sapphire eyes and auburn locks of hair; he hated it when this happened.
"May I please h-have the fruit that I paid for, sir?" Seth managed to fake a delicate smile though he felt like screaming on the inside from the humiliation.
"Sure, boy!" He laughed whilst picking up the basket of blueberries and dumping them all over the fallen slave. Many people pointed and laughed, others covered the innocent eyes of their children to avoid leaving them open to seeing such a creature on the street.
As the commotion died down, Seth sighed and began the process of salvaging as much of the fruit as possible.
Today was not his day....

The blond could not help but hear all the commotion. He saw that the merchant had gotten ahold of a man, though at this angle who it was had been very unclear. Marr heard the merchant mocking and calling names at whom ever it was and he knew he had to get a better look. He stood slowly and walked carefully around a few people in order to see what all the fuss was about and then he saw him.
The "monster", the "freak" that ever one talked so horribly about. The one spell caster that every other spell caster knew, even if they have not met him yet. All his life this man had heard nothing but horrible things about Seth, how he was a curse from the gods and how he was put here to destroy all.
Marr thought that he should laugh and be rude, just like the others, however Marr saw tears and a kind of shame in his eyes. Even if he had tried he could not seem to make himself act mercilessly against this poor man.
Things started to slow down and he saw the crowd dispersing so he used his powers over the earth to lift a pretty decent sized rock and hit it against the merchants head, knocking him out instantly and with that Marr decided to walk over to the other spell caster to help him with his things.
The blond reached out a hand to the brunet and waited to see if he would take his offer to help him up. In the mean time Marr thought that he might take a look at this so called "monster".
He almost gasped as he saw his bright blue eyes that makes even the most vibrant sapphires become dull with envy. His skin was that of the purest ivory and looked so delicate in the hot Egyptian sun. Even the gods themselves weren't as beautiful as he. As his bright emerald eyes traced the majestic and utterly attractive figure, they landed on his bright, shining auburn locks. They seemed so soft and fragile, just like the rest of him...And is lips...They seemed so tempting.
Noticing that he was starring, Marr thought he would try and start up conversation. "That was a pretty bad fall there, are you alright?" and he gave him a friendly smirk.
"I believe your name is Seth...I have heard alot about you...My name is Marr."

The merchant before him was swiftly making his way back to his cart of fruit when a rock was thrown from seemingly out of nowhere, making the brunet gasp with slight surprise at what had just happened. Either way he had to get those blueberries picked up sometime soon before they went bad. He knew Triis wouldn't get angry about the accident since he knew of Seth's trouble with people all the time in most situations. A sigh fell from slightly parted lips and he went to stand when a young man approached him and spoke.
A questionable look spread across Seth's features when he realized that Marr was staring at him; either out of disgust or surprise at what he saw. "No, no. I can stand on my own, but thank you." The brunet moved to stand slowly and cautiously, making sure that Marr wouldn't do anything whilst his back was turned to the young man. "It was quite the rough fall, indeed. I am fine now and you can go on with your own business like everyone else. The drama is over and I will be fine." Seth said briskly, avoiding all eye contact with the blond as he collected his blueberries.
It was quite apparent that Seth had no liking for being gazed at or befalling some kind of fake pity from others; everyone was the same to him and he never enjoyed the mocking glances that others readily gave him on a regular basis. His motions came to a quick halt when Marr mentioned his name. Turning around slowly, Seth eyed Marr with quick suspicion before backing away a few steps and gazing at the terrain.
"Of course you would hear of me. My name is mentioned all throughout the many spellcaster villages and even these streets. It is not new to me anymore and I do not need this to be shoved into my face anymore." He told the spellcaster in a soft tone before grasping his sack of blueberries. "If you would excuse me, I have more shopping to do."

The brunet's actions quiet surprised him. However as the blond continued to think about all the things he had heard about Seth and how he saw the people treating him, he thought better of this first impression.
As his green eyes tried to lock themselves with the sapphire ones, Marr noticed a kind of distrust and guard filling them. People must have treated him like this all the time, all of his life. It must be hard to trust anyone, and whats more, to let some one just come and help him up? Marr could have done anything with that quick gesture.
As he watched the blue eyed man arise and speak, Marr was entranced. It was almost as if he was being lulled into the company of this man. He seemed so delicate and soft...Marr wanted to protect him with every word that he spoke.
As the brunet started to step back and show that he was about the leave, Marr had an idea. "No! Wait!" The emerald boy inched his burning feet closer to fill the gap in between them that Seth had just made. "Why not let me go with you? I could help you carry somethings and this place is rough I can help make sure that this does not happen again."
Marr stood there in front of him, wanting the blue eyed beauty to look up at him, take his offer, and maybe he could have a chance with this...Slave...Such a foul term for this little rarity.
Marr wanted to take him some where and explore his body and mind. To find out and care for this man. He looked so helpless and vulnerable, too much so, Marr wanted to take away his pain; that obvious pain that he saw in the other man's bright blue eyes.

(( Short post. ))
No matter how many times he had dealt with being stared at, Seth didn't enjoy the gaze of the other man and he wanted to get away as quickly as possibly. Sadly, as he backed away Marr would only move to close the gap between himself and the other spellcaster. Seth gazed at the boy quizzically and lifted a delicate brow in something close to surprise. What was wrong with this man? The brunet only wanted to get away and continue on with his business, but Marr seemed to be too interested to let him go anywhere.
Upon Marr's request to join in the company, Seth narrowed his eyes and put an immediate protective shield on. "Absolutely not. Why should I trust you in the first place? I do not know you and you ask to join me as if I cannot take care of myself. This entire world is a rough place, but I refuse to be babied over by some stranger that is probably feigning sincerity just to prank me in the long run." The brunet would snap, saying more than he ever said within the past two days.
Realizing his mean words, he shook his head. "I apologize. It has been a long day. Please excuse me." He sighed and turned his back, accidentally stepping upon one of the blueberries he failed to pick up. He couldn't help but wonder if the young man actually meant what he said about helping, but he soon dismissed it and continued to walk away. It was best not to get in trouble.

The green eyed boy turned his head slightly and smirked at the other spell caster with one eyebrow raised, still entranced by his beauty. He spoke with such ferocity that it was almost as if the brunet was demanding that Marr leave him alone. However as the blue eyed beauty realized his words, he changed them. Unfortunately for Seth, this blonde was very determined!
Marr's tanned legs carried him over to the few feet that Seth had moved. Marr knew that the other spell caster could hold his own, that was not the question, but more of a "Would he?" question.
"No need to apologize and I know you can take care of yourself!" Marr said, still walking in step with Seth's hurried pace.
"However I would still like to join you. Trust me, I do not wish to prank you nor would I want to hurt you...Well...You can not really trust me, you do not know me; but if you were to get to know me, then you could trust me!"
With emerald eyes still locked onto Seth, he kept walking with him. He would not take no for an answer, unless the brunet could come up with a good reason why would want him to leave.
Marr was just too intoxicated by this man that he could not find himself to pull away from this spell caster. He was so beautiful and offered, not only a challenge to him, but a mystery as well. He wanted to know about his man, why he would think that a mere stranger would wish to prank him...Why he would rather be alone.
As they walked, Marr noticed how the sun made Seth's hair sparkle and how the very little sweat made his face seem to glisten. He was very different...A spell caster with blue eyes and brown hair! How odd! However, even though this should offend Marr and make him want to cause pain on this poor man, it was what made him so attracted.
Marr remembered hearing stories of this "Seth Nefer" all of his life. How he was an abomination and how he was a curse, but Marr was unsure if he was to believe them; they had been wrong before. This was Marr's chance to find out!
