Setoek would seat himself in the front chamer of the temple, graments lain lose on him as his dark bue eyes stare at the Anubis statue in the back of the temple. The Rise of the Egypt sun would soon come and he would have to get to work. A deep sigh would cone from him as he rose and went out of his traquility. Thought would go through his brain as he started the daily task of setting things in proper order. Ensents, offerings, statues, idols.
"I wonder how my brother is doing the quiet morning? I wander is that thief got into anymore trouble again, I hope i dont have to give an excuse if he did."
He would erase it from his mind for a moment as steady hands lighted the ensents and set the offerings in place for the others which came to this temple. Hurried feet would rush him through the temple from one side to the other. He would soon finish his tasks and end up back in he usual seated position at the foot of Anubis resting from a mornings work with knee bent and arm set on it and head held up by the same arm. He would sit there, nodding off every once in a while. He longed from the sound of some pitter patter of unconvetional feet to walk through that front door and welcome him to something exciting or the sound of his brother with a happy voice comingin to start an unusual conversation about happenings. Another sigh would he emit as boredom set in and Ra's orb shined bright in the sky. Sounds of merchants and the population waking to start a new day of adventure as he a priest of sorts just sat in this empty temple with nothing but a God's statue to keep him company.

Selen stifled a yawn as she walked slowly down the halls towards to her final place before starting back towards Ra and start the day. Where was Sethos anyways? She bit her lip and a scowl formed on her lips at the thought of her partner in his bed, sleeping and warm....She wanted nothing more than to sleep right then, to crawl back under warm covers and soft pillow...The thought made her yawn. She lifted her arms in the air, arching her back in an arch. The Sunlight crept through crevces and warmed the air slowly, its glow basking Selen and glittering her hair. She wiggled her nose, smelling the crisp air filtering through her lungs. Her final stop came into view, feet picking up at each step. As she reached the top she looked up to meet Setoek's eyes. They never talked much before.
"G-Good day Setoek.." she softly smiled and bowed, small tendrals of hair tumbling over her petite shoulders.
She stifled another yawn, eyes watering at the edges slightly where her heavy make-up was on. It might just be another hot day. Incense filled the room already, the preperations for the day almost ready. Well, this made it easier. She smiled in satisfaction and let her eyes slowly reach up to meet his darker ones.He looked alot like Seth, except with longer hair and dark colored eyes. Her eyes twinkled in merry at the thought of Seth. Such a sweet person who deserved so much in the world.

Setoek sit there breathing slowly. Sweet sent of the inccents he set out filled his lungs. How calming this scent. Simple thought as usual went through his mind but soon stopped as dark blue eyes set upon the lovely Selen. Ah a beauty she was this priestess of Ra. Seemingly tired looking one at that. Like Selen he would give anything to sleep but it didn't seem he would get any this day.
"Good day to you too Selen." He would say with a small smile as dark blue eyes met her lighter ones. Yes they didn't talk much but he wished they would. Lately setoek's days had been lonely and boring. Not much happening at all.
The sense of happiness filled the room some from her presence. He could simply smile. It seemed Selen was alittle happy at what he had done making her day easier was always good. Setoek would just watch Selen while she was in thought. Beauty in the eyes of the beholder eh?

She bowed her head in greeting to the statue, her fingers lacing and closing her eyes in a silent prayer to the God. The scent of the musk wafted into her nose as she slowly opened her blue orbs again, sitting back up and glancing back at Setoek's intense gaze.
Selentha smiled humbly and lifted her slender hand in a small salutation,"How are you this morning Setoek?"
"Tired as I am?" she joked,"Ra, I want to go flip my partner over in his bed to get him awake!" her lower lip puckered into a pout as she huffed.
She looked upon the the other High Priest, sighing softly. She was always curious about the other, he was so quiet and tranguil when he resided inside the temple of Anubis. Her thoughts wandered on him from time to time, wondering how he was doing in his temple. The echoing of random, young, priests and priestesses with their chatter of starting a new day filtered through the walls as the sun slowly rose higher. Time was ticking.

Setoek would also bow his head toward the statue for the second time he dwell ed here this morning. He would finally raise himself up from his seated position at the foot of Anubis.
Eyes longing for sleep stayed locked on Selen as she asked about how he was. " Don't as good as i wish to be, Not a wink of sleep last night."He said in his normal speech and not in a annoyed tone he would usually give to some. Priestess deserved better than a cranky man's bitter words for a morning start. Setoek would continue to listen to her intently her partner even though he would of dozed off by now.
" I would do it if i were you. Would teach him to be on time and more responsible." This was said in a joking matter. True if he had a partner for such jobs he would wake them in that way to teach them. Blue eyes wander as Selen's did to the other. He never knew what or how the priest was feeling or thinking. Not to mention he didn't notice the priest come in till Selen looked that way.
