Selen had ran from the palace after the incident with Ancrete, her make-up slightly smeared and silver-blue orbs glassy from her tears she had shed. Selen looked exhausted now. Her hair was down now and her robes were replaced with a simple gown. She bit her lower lip and rubbed her eyes. She didn't know how to act around Ancrete now...
She slipped off her sandles as she reached the sandy shore. Selen looked around to find no one near by so she slowly shed off her gown and slipped into the water.
Her eyes closed as she felt the ripples from the small waves surround her and cool her body from the sun that hung high in the sky.

Ancrete left the courtyard area to the bath house that all the guards share to clean himself up after training. While letting the water cleanse him of sweat and dirt, Ancrete's thoughts turn to Selentha, and how much of a fool he had been when she met him.
After Ancrete was done cleaning himself up, he got dressed and reported in to his captain as usual before heading back out to the temple grounds. "Baxton is currently watching over her, she was last seen leaving the palace grounds a while ago, possibly towards the shore," the captain explained to Ancrete. Ancrete saluted the captain and left towards the palace entrance.

She hummed as she bathed in the Nile's waters, running her wet hands over her arms and shoulder blades. Selen couldn't help but think of a song to calm her emotions. Selen sang to herself,"Ana ma bade tele kalamYdaweb albe, haneen w gharam~" She raised her hands to the sun, rotating her wrists and her eyes fluttering close.
A smile painted on her lips as she continued to sing and wash herself in the privacy of the branches and leaves that hid her from view. The song eased her sorrows and the water gave her a simple pleasure from the heat. Sometimes a cold bath always felt wonderful. She would have to get her soaps another time. Selen was lost in her own world now as she sang sweetly and moved with her own music while she bathed.
